Piers Morgan had the opportunity to critique American Sniper in an online review for Daily Mail. And, please remember he is anti gun, anti war and has had no problem stating that – this being said below is part of what he said about Chris Kyle.

“Liberal film-maker Michael Moore went as far as to brand all snipers ‘cowards’. A stinging claim that provoked an equally stinging response. And a claim with which I couldn’t disagree more.

Kyle was just told to go and do his job; to aim his expert eye through the eye of a high-powered rifle barrel and shoot people – before they shot him or his fellow soldiers.

Good snipers are hugely effective as any army commander will tell you. And sniping is no more ‘cowardly’ than firing a rocket from an F-16.

Chris Kyle, American Sniper, was NOT a coward. He repeatedly risked his life serving his country in some of the most dangerous terrain on earth. And by doing his job so well, better than anyone in his country’s history, he saved many American lives.

HE is a hero.”

Piers Morgan, unlike the Michael Moores and Seth Rogens of the world, was able to form a logical human reaction, and keep his anti-gun/war very public opinion from his assessment of an American hero who risked his life to defend our nation’s freedom and ensure our security.  We just never know what he is going to say about our Great Country – hum, wonder why he spends so much time here????
